Default I gots me a boat...

I traded my crawler for this Rio 51. I am still under restriction from my surgery, so Baja5TLDR brought his brushless 29" cat over and we ran both boats today. It was my first time running a boat... HOLY SHIT!!!!! THESE THINGS ARE FUN!!!!! I am going to pick uo a brushless boat next. They are just sick!!!

I know the Rio has a bad rep, but this thing rips and it runs like a champ!!!

When I ran the Rio the first time, I got the biggest rush I have had from an rc since my first hobby grade rc. Cocaine would have brought me down!!

Hopefully this winter I can start a wood hull build too.

And yeah it is nice to walk out the front door and just drop it in the lake. It's just too bad I waited this long to getva boat...

That one looks fimiliar.

They guy who built it up had done a few before that one, and he claimed that the one you have will run around 48 mph, which is very respectable of water.

Glad to see you enjoyin' it, and I know Jeremy will enjoy the crawler.

Yeah, he took care of all of the "short comings" the Rio is known for. He did nice work too. I do want to upgrade to at least a Zen and I want to put a clutch in it.

It moves out pretty well, I would have guessed top speed to be in the upper 40's. But Luke's little brushless boat is just down right breakneck fast. I can see me doing a lot more boats in the future.

You should bring some of yours over before it gets too cold. The water conditions have been great since all of the tourists left for the season.

Sure would be nice to get some fuel through at least one of them ...
